As Chair for Communications, Emily’s goal is to create a sense of unity among all graduate and professional students on campus by linking students to events and organizations that align with their interests. Her goal is to create an informative GAPSA newsletter each week and an active GAPSA website that students can use to find events and resources to enrich their time here at Penn. Emily also helps run GAPSA’s Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, and aims to make GAPSA’s social media an engaging and informative space.
Emily is a passionate bubble tea connoisseur and loves to try new boba places whenever she can. She enjoys taking naps, browsing memes with bubble tea in her hand, watching Netflix, and doing Falun Dafa meditation exercises. In her free time, Emily also participates in events that raise awareness to the ongoing 20-year persecution of Falun Dafa in mainland China.
