Haley Pilgrim

Haley Pilgrim is a fourth year Sociology PhD student, activist, and President of GAPSA. She graduated cum laude with a degree in Education and Social Policy from Northwestern University. Over the last four years, she has been invested in GAPSA serving on the Research Council, equity and access committee, deputy of engagement of the finance committee, and last year as the inaugural IDEAL Council Chair. Pilgrim is actively involved on campus as a Fontaine Fellow, graduate liaison to Student Life Trustee's committee, the co-founder of the Graduate Sociology Society, and a Graduate Associate with College Houses and Academic Services. She is also the former co-president of the Black Graduate and Professional Student Assembly. 

Pilgrim is proud to call Philadelphia her home. In 2018, she was elected to a four-year term on the Democratic Ward Executive Committee. 

 It is her great honor to serve Penn's graduate students alongside some of the most remarkable and dedicated leaders and advocates. It is an exciting and empowering time to be a part of GAPSA.
