Jason Andrechak

Director of Equity & Access

Jason Andrechak is a 4th year Bioengineering PhD candidate at the University of Pennsylvania. He studies macrophage immune checkpoint blockade and immunotherapy for solid tumors. Advocacy for various and diverse student populations is a primary passion of his, with the goal of working towards a more equitable and accessible higher education experience. He is also co-President of the Graduate Association of Bioengineers (GABE) and formerly served as GABE's Community Outreach & Service chair, among other department and graduate group-level advocacy and policy roles.
