Serena Shi

Serena is a second year bioengineering PhD student here at the University of Pennsylvania. She is an HHMI-NIBIB Interfaces Program scholar and a National Science Federation Graduate Research Fellow. Her research interests lie in translational medical imaging with a focus on x-ray and computed tomography.

Outside of GAPSA, Serena has also served as recruitment chair for the Graduate Association of Bioengineering (GABE) and as a member of the Mossell House Council for the Perelman School of Medicine.
