Samantha Miller, Chair

Samantha Miller is your 2015-2016 Chair of GAPSA, and is excited to serve the Penn graduate and professional student communities. Last year, Samantha served as the Vice-Chair for Professional Students, where she sat on University Council, University Council’s Steering Committee, and the Academic Planning and Budget Committee.
Samantha is a third year law student. At Penn Law, Samantha serves as the 2015-2016 Director of the Leaders in Education Advocacy and Reform Network (LEARN) pro bono project. She is also the 2016 Symposium Editor for the University of Pennsylvania Journal of Constitutional Law. During her first year, Samantha served as a Teaching Fellow for the James Wilson Project.
Samantha received her Masters in Education from Penn’s Graduate School of Education in 2012. She was also a 2010 Greater Philadelphia Teach for America Corps Member through which she taught third grade at Young Scholars Douglass Charter School for three years. While teaching, Samantha was also a 2012 New Leaders Council Fellow in the Philadelphia Chapter. She graduated from the Schreyer Honors College at Penn State University in 2010 with degrees in political science and philosophy.
Fun Fact: Samantha took dance lessons for 17 years. Dancing (in a less official capacity) is still one of her favorite activities.
