Deputy Director of Administrative Affairs
Dawn Adrian
Graduate School of Education (GSE)
Operations Division
I am an MSEd Candidate at the University of Pennsylvania’s Graduate School of Education. My research examines the intersection between indigenous populations, education, and economic development, with a regional focus on Sarawak, Malaysia. I currently serve as the President of the Graduate School of Education Student Government (GSESG), a board member of the International Student Advisory Board (ISAB), and a Perry World House Graduate Associate. Before UPenn, I worked as a Special Projects Associate in Teach For Malaysia, was an English Literature and ESOL teacher, and obtained a degree in Bachelor of Art from the University of Exeter
Tell us one sentence about what brought you to GAPSA
I had previously served as a GAPSA Rep in 2021-22 and this year I serve as a G12 President for the Graduate School of Education. In both capacities, being a part of GAPSA has allowed me to serve our student body through advocacy and programming.
