I’m a 3rd-year PhD student studying Biostatistics. Last year, I served as a GAPSA representative for the Biomedical Graduate Student Association (BGSA). I’m excited to direct the data analytics committee this year and assist GAPSA’s efforts from advocacy to programming. In my free time, I like defending Philly to friends in other cities and doing anything active (basketball, tennis, hiking, exploring).

Tell us one sentence about what brought you to GAPSA

I joined GAPSA to learn from and interact with a passionate, but still fun, group of people while contributing to student life.

Give a brief blurb about your position and high-level goals for the year

The Director of Data Analytics is a new position designed to oversee the collection, storage, and reporting of data for all things GAPSA. This year, I’m hoping to define standards for GAPSA’s data collection, software, organization, storage and transparency; and integrate with GAPSA’s many divisions to assist their efforts.
